Visual Voicemail
Visual Voicemail allows callers to leave you a voice message when you don't answer, just like other services. On an Apple iPhone, the unique feature of Visual Voicemail is that it lets you see a list of your messages and choose which ones to listen to or delete, without having to listen to prior messages or voice instructions.
The
Phone button on the Home screen shows the total number of missed calls and unheard voicemail messages you have.
Please note: Visual Voicemail uses data. If you use it outside of Canada, you will be charged data roaming rates.
TIP! For Visual Voicemail to work, your Data Block function must be turned off (note that Visual Voicemail uses data for which there is no charge, when used in Canada).
To set up Visual Voicemail:
- Tap Voicemail and follow the prompts to create a voicemail password and record a personal greeting
- To record your greeting:
- Tap Voicemail and tap Greeting, then tap Custom
- Tap Record and speak your greeting
- When finished, tap Stop
- To listen to your greeting tap Play
- To save your greeting tap Save
- To play a standard greeting that includes your phone number tap Voicemail, then tap Greeting, then tap Default
To check Visual Voicemail for messages:
- From the Home screen, tap the green Phone icon located on the bottom left of the screen
- Tap the Voicemail icon and select from the list of messages displayed - unheard messages have a blue dot next to them
- To listen to a new voicemail message tap Voicemail, then tap the new message
- The message downloads to Apple iPhone and plays
- Tap the Pause button to pause the message and the Play button to resume playback
- You can skip to any point in a message or listen to it again by dragging the playhead on the scrubber bar
- After a message has been played, it will be saved for 10 days from the time you listen to it
TIP! You can still access voicemail by pressing and holding the "
1" key on your Apple iPhone (just like on any other wireless phone).

Q: When is my bill due?
A: Your bill is due by the "Required Payment Date" noted at the top of each invoice page.
Q: How can I pay my bill?
A: For greater convenience, sign up for both online billing and pre-authorized bill payments. Or, mail in a cheque, make a payment at a bank or visit a Rogers store near you.

Quick tips and ways to save on long distance and roaming
Long Distance and Roaming Explained
Here's some information about where and why long distance and roaming appear on your bill.
Long distance charges include:
- Calls made to numbers outside your local calling area
- Calls made or received while you're outside your local calling area
Roaming charges apply to:
- Calls made outside Canada that are no longer in the Rogers network
- Calling, text messaging, picture/video messaging and data usage (such as email, IM or mobile browsing) outside of Canada will result in roaming charges
Did you know?
- Rogers helps you stay connected in more than 210 destinations around the world
- Unlike long distance calling, there's no additional charge for using data outside your local calling area while in Canada
- If you answer a call or pick up your voicemail while in another country, you will be charged roaming rates
- You can save money while you're travelling by making sure Rogers has voice and/or data coverage in the country you're travelling to
- Be prepared for your travels by checking rates in other countries
