Instructor Lead Courses:
Rogers offers five instructor led courses to its employees. These courses are aligned with Rogers overall business and leadership goals in the areas of communication, finance, development and project management.
my e-Learning:
What is my e-Learning? my e-Learning is an online learning program, that offers on-demand courses at no cost to Rogers employees. Participants can select from a wide range of courses and complete them whenever its convenient, at their own pace and from any internet location. The courses are quick, easy to use, and align to Rogers Core Competencies; innovation, communication, accountability, customer focus and team work.
Educational Assistance Policy
At Rogers, we strongly believe that our employees are our most important asset and we are firmly committed to developing their potential. We support and strive to provide educational, training and learning opportunities for our employees through a range of sources, including educational institutions.
Our Educational Assistance Policy program provides eligible employees with reimbursement of all or part of their tuition fees for the successful completion of courses taken at the employees discretion (subject to prior company approval).
Management Matters:
A continuous blended learning program, Managing Matters is designed to provide Managers at Rogers with simple to use tools, opportunities to network and share best practices with their peers, and develop a common, consistent language.
Leadership Matters:
Designed to enhance the skills, knowledge and behaviours of Directors at Rogers, Leadership Matters addresses specific business and leadership challenges that face Rogers today. Each cohort includes a cross-functional mix of Directors which allows for the free flow of ideas and experiences between different functions, and provides participants an opportunity to network with their peers.
Awards and Statistics
In 2008/09, over 650 managers completed the Managing Matters program, in French and English, and 1000 are scheduled to graduate in 2009/10.
In the first quarter of 2009, the Organizational Learning team has provided an estimated 15,000 training hours across the country in both official languages.
