IMPORTANT NOTICE: RATE CHANGE FOR PAY-PER-USE INTERNATIONAL TEXT MESSAGES
Effective May 4th, 2010, the rate for pay-per-use text messages sent from Canada to another country (other than the United States) will change to $0.35/message plus applicable taxes (previously $0.25/message). All other aspects of your wireless service will remain the same. The rate for text messages to the United States will remain at $0.25/message plus applicable taxes. International Text Messaging add-ons are not affected by the rate change noted above

How to opt-in to a Premium Text Messaging program:
1. Send a text message with the required phrase to a premium content short code that you see advertised on TV, radio or online (for example, text the phrase ABC to the short code 12345).
2. A free administration message will be sent to you containing the price, frequency of messaging and a website address for more information.
3. You will usually need to reply to this message to finalize the subscription service (i.e. most services ask you to reply YES to subscribe).

How to opt-out of a Premium Text Messaging program:
A mobile subscription can be cancelled at anytime by simply texting the word STOP to the program's short code.

Look for premium text charges in the wireless usage summary section of your Rogers Wireless invoice. Some premium text programs will also include a support number. By calling this support number you will get direct access to the content provider for this service as well as receive prompt answers to your questions and verification of charges

Charities such as Jays Care and Red Cross have set up unique keywords and text short codes that you can use to send a text donation. Send and receive email via text messaging
1. Your phone's e-mail address is your 10digitphonenumber@pcs.rogers.com 2. You will receive a 'Message Alert' when an e-mail is sent to your phone.
3. Simply reply "read" to the Message alert if you want to receive the message, or reply "block" to the
Message alert to block the sender from sending you future messages1. E-mail to Text Service
Commands are simple and easy to use using the reply option on your phone, view a list of commands
to interact with the E-mail to Text service.
- Receive the first 160 characters of each message automatically. If the message is over 160 characters, you must reply MORE to be sent more of the message.
- Create your own e-mail address (eg. youralias@pcs.rogers.com). Availability is on a first come, first serve basis
- Spam control blocks unwanted e-mail messages2
You can also subscribe to the $5 Email to Text Direct Delivery Option. With this add-on, Message Alerts will no longer be sent to you when you subscribe to this feature and you will automatically receive messages including messages greater than 160 characters. All other features will remain the same.
Use one of the following Commands to reply to the initial alert message:

Need to discreetly tell your parents that you'll be home late? Rogers Wireless new TXT 2 Landline feature gives you the capability to send a text message to any landline phone.
How To:
Just type a text message from your wireless phone and enter the 10 digit phone number in the 'TO' field as you would with a regular text message.
The recipient's phone will ring and when it is answered your text message will be automatically read to them (can be in French or English). If the recipient does not answer the phone your text message will be stored as voicemail. (Recipient must have a voicemail service on their landline.) Recipients can also reply to the text message and leave a message for you.
After sending a TXT 2 Landline message you will receive a confirmation text message letting you know how your message was received and if the recipient left a voice response message for you.
Language setting:
Change your language preference by sending a text message to 2525 with E (English) or F (French).

- Each TXT 2 Landline message sent costs only 15¢, plus your standard messaging rate.
