iPad Plan (Prepaid) Terms and Conditions
The following terms and conditions will govern the sale and, together with Rogers Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy (available at rogers.com/terms), your use of the iPad plans and services and form part of your service agreement with Rogers please read carefully.
iPad plans are valid for data services (no voice component) only on the Rogers network using the Apple iPad or iPad 2 device (microSIM is not transferable). Data transmission while roaming outside the Rogers network is not permitted, unless otherwise specified by your plan. Tethering (use of the device as a wireless modem) is not permitted, unless otherwise specified by your plan.
Online billing registration is required. To activate and use the services, you must pay your full applicable monthly plan fee in advance. The monthly plan fee plus applicable taxes will be automatically charged to your credit card (as provided in your online billing registration) each calendar month (each, a Monthly Plan Period). If your billing date falls on the 31st of the month, in months which have less than 31 days, you will be charged on the last day of the month for that specific month. If additional options or applications outside of your iPad plan fee are selected, additional charges will be incurred which may also be billed to the credit card you provided. If your account is cancelled or funds are not available, your services will be suspended for non-payment and you will not have access to any services.
Unless otherwise specifically provided for in your plan, data included in your monthly plan expires at the end of each Monthly Plan Period. You will be notified when you have approximately 20%, 10% and 0% of the data included in your plan remaining and will be provided the option to purchase a new plan. You may purchase a new plan at any time. If, upon a subsequent plan purchase, any data remains in your prior plan, it will be depleted first before data is depleted from the new plan. The Monthly Plan Period for a plan will begin immediately upon purchase. Your next renewal date and plan will be based on the most recent plan purchased.
By activating an iPad data plan, you agree to automatic monthly payments to be made each Monthly Plan Period from the date of activation using the credit card you provided in your online billing registration. Your payments will continue until cancelled by you. If you wish to cancel your automatic payment in the future, you can manage your account directly from your iPad under Settings > Cellular Data > My Account. If you do not make a payment for 6 consecutive months, your account will be deactivated. If and when you would like to reactivate your service, you will be required to purchase a new SIM card and activate a new account.
