Parental Controls gives customers with a digital box more control over the programming in their home. To adjust or change your Parental Controls, just follow these simple steps:

Before you begin you need to create a PIN number
Use Parental Controls to block specific channels
1. Press Settings twice in the Interactive Program Guide

2. Scroll through the list until BLOCK PIN is highlighted then press OK/Select
2. Scroll through the list until BLOCK CHANNELS is highlighted, and press OK/Select
3. Scroll through the next list until CHANGE is highlighted and press OK/Select
3. Follow the prompts – you'll be asked to enter your PIN
4. Follow the prompts – you'll be asked for your PIN (the default is 0000) and then you can create your own.
4. Scroll and select the channel(s) you want to block and press OK/Select
5. Once complete, press Exit

6. Press Settings once, scroll down to turn on Parental Controls, press 5. Once complete, press OK/Select and enter your PIN again. Now all your selected channels are blocked.
Block Specific Channels by Rating
1. Press SETTINGS twice on your remote control.
2. Scroll down and select "Block: Rating".
3. When prompted enter your PIN.
4. Scroll to the rating you wish to block and press SELECT.
Ratings are as follows:
NR
Not Rated
TV-Y
Kids' Audiences
TV-Y7
May be inappropriate for children under 7
G/TV-G
General / General audiences
PG/TV-PG
Parental Guidance / May not be suitable for children
PG13
Parents strongly cautioned - Some material may be inappropriate for children under 13
TV-14
Parental guidance suggested for children under 14
TV-MA
Suitable for mature audiences or adults only
R
Restricted - No one under 17 admitted unless accompanied by parent or adult guardian
NC17
NC-17 - No one 17 and under admitted
NR-Adult
Not Rated Adult
