Other Plan Details:

If less than 1 MB of data is used, usage will be rounded up to the next full KB. Only data wirelessly transmitted (sent/received) over the Rogers Wireless GPRS network is deducted from the monthly data allotment. No airtime or long distance applies to data usage. Standard roaming rate is billed at 5¢ per KB in both the United States and other countries. However, when you subscribe to any Data Service Plan you will benefit from a low data rate of only 1¢ per KB while roaming in the USA, Puerto Rico or the U.S. Virgin Islands. If a voice plan is not subscribed to, each voice call (on voice-enabled devices) will be billed at $1.00 per minute and a one-time activation fee applies. A 50¢ 911 Emergency Service Fee and a $6.95 System Access Fee apply each month in addition to the monthly fee. Applicable taxes are extra. Windows Mobile Plans are not for use with BlackBerry® handhelds.

The System Access Fee is charged by all wireless carriers to help cover the costs associated with the ongoing expansion and upgrading of the wireless network. The fee is not required by nor collected for the federal government or any of its agencies. It is billed in advance each month, and will appear twice on your first invoice. One is for the month in advance and the second is a prorated fee from your activation date to the end of your first bill period.
