Calls may be made/received through an open wireless Internet connection (Wi-Fi) and on public Wi-Fi networks not requiring password access. Calls initiated on Rogers' network (when not connected to the Wi-Fi) charged according to monthly wireless airtime package.
TalkSpot offers a form of emergency 9-1-1 service that is an extension of our wireless 9-1-1 service. 9-1-1 calls made, even when in range of the router, will be routed and responded to as a wireless 9-1-1 call in accordance with all wireless 9-1-1 regulations and subject to the limitations described in the Terms of Service. In the rare case where the 9-1-1 calls will be routed via the router, emergency personnel will not receive your physical location information. As such, you should be prepared to provide or confirm your address and call-back number with the 9-1-1 operator. In case you are unable to verbally provide your geographic location to the 9-1-1 emergency service personnel, Rogers strongly recommends that you provide a 9-1-1 emergency address corresponding to the address where you will be installing the router and using the service. To do so, please go to rogers.com and log into your account or contact Rogers Customer Care at 1 888 ROGERS1. The address you provide us may be used to locate a 9-1-1 emergency call while using the service at that location. If you relocate your router, Rogers strongly recommends that you provide your new street address where you will be at the time of the change. When you select and use the TalkSpot service and/or device and any router, you acknowledge and agree to the above, including the emergency 9-1-1 information and limitations, as part of your Rogers Wireless Service Agreement and Terms and Conditions
