Activate/Deactivate Long Distance Lock

This process explains how to activate and deactivate the Long Distance Lock feature.

Activate Long Distance Lock:

  1. Dial *95 from your home phone.
  2. Enter your Long Distance Lock PIN followed by # when prompted.
    • The default Long Distance Lock PIN is the last four digits of your phone number. E.g. If your phone number is (123) 555-1234 your default PIN is 1234.
  3. Listen for the confirmation message then hang up.
    • Outgoing long distance calls are now locked out.

Deactivate Long Distance Lock: 

  1. Dial *96 from your home phone.
  2. Enter your Long Distance Lock PIN followed by # when prompted.
    • The default Long Distance Lock PIN is the last four digits of your phone number. E.g. if your phone number is (123) 555-1234 your default PIN is 1234.
  3. Listen for the confirmation message then hang up.
    • Outgoing long distance calls are now allowed.
