    • Your Email Address:username@rogers.com or username@nl.rogers.com
      Enter your Rogers Email user name in place of "username"

    • Password:Enter your Rogers Email password.
      Remember your password is case sensitive. Check that caps lock is not on.

    • Incoming (POP) Server:pop.broadband.rogers.com

    • Outgoing (SMTP) Server:smtp.broadband.rogers.com

    • SMTP Authentication: Should be ON.
      This will allow you to send mail. If you are asked to enter a username and password, enter the same ones used to download mail.

    • Outgoing (SMTP) Port Number:587

    • Home Page Reset Tool- This tool allows you to quickly reset your Internet browser homepage.
    • System Files Verification Utility- This tool will check and repair your operating system files.
    • System Restore Point- With this tool you can set a system restore point. This allows you to return your computer to that state should you encounter problems in the future. If you've been attacked by a virus or spyware, you can often repair your system by using this tool.
    • Network Address Renewal Tool- This tool allows you to release and renew your Internet Address (IP).

    If your network problem exists on only some computers on your network, but other computers can still connect to the Internet, then the problem lies with the configuration of the computers that are experiencing problems. To troubleshoot, follow the steps below for each computer that cannot connect to the Internet:

    Step 1 - Restart Your Computer

    1. Restart your computer as you normally would. Ensure that you have removed all disks and CD-ROMs fromthe drives.
    2. When your computer has restarted, open Internet Explorer and try to visit some websites. If you connect, that's great! You're all finished! If you can't, continue below:

    Step 2 - Check Your Cable Connections

    1. If you are troubleshooting a wired connection, ensure that the Ethernet cable is securely connected to the computer at one end, and the router or hub at the other. When the cable is properly connected, lights will illuminate on the front of the router or hub, and beside the Ethernet port on the back of the computer.
    2. Open Internet Explorer and try to visit some websites. If you connect, that's great! You're all finished! If you can't, continue below:
