Just as you would do with your regular TV, you can use your Digital Cable remote control to channel surf through the various programs. But Digital Cable offers much better ways to plan your television viewing, including: The Interactive Program Guide (IPG)
The Interactive Program Guide (IPG) provides you with a quick reference for programs that are available within a 7-day period for all your channels - both analog and digital. From the Program Guide, you can find programs by Time, Theme and Title, obtain a synopsis/plot for any program listed that is available, set a reminder so you don't miss a program and block out channels so that they cannot be watched. Plus, you can also order movies at the touch of a button with our impulse Pay Per View service (available in most areas). Think of it as a high-tech, truly interactive TV magazine. The Channel Banner
The channel banner allows you to quickly get information about the channel you're watching, including the channel name and number, the current date and time, the program title and the day and time when the program is showing. Like the IPG, the channel banner allows you to continue watching the current program while viewing other program information on different channels or at different times.

The greatest difference between High Definition and Standard Definition is the initial setup, which is described here. Your initial setup will depend on the kind of High Definition Box you have. Refer to the pictures below and then make your selection. | Important Message About Your HDTV Use: Some TVs can experience image Burn-In if fixed images are displayed for extended periods of time.
