Rogers Satellite keeps you connected like no other wireless provider in Canada. This service uses satellites to provide coverage to subscribed customers in areas without traditional mobile coverage so customers can stay connected and reach 911 in even more places in Canada.

Rogers Satellite is an emerging technology that currently supports text messaging, text-to-911, emergency location sharing, public alerts. Plus, select devices now also support compatible apps over satellite, including calls over WhatsApp. We worked closely with device manufacturers to enable app capability over satellite. App capability is available on select Apple, Google Pixel and Samsung devices. Check your device for available features.

Getting started is easy!

For existing Rogers customers, it’s available as a part of new 5G+ plans, or as an add-on for all other plans.

Rogers Satellite coverage is currently available in Canada in areas with no cellular or Wi-Fi coverage, south of the 58th parallel (excluding specific regions) in most outdoor areas where you can see the sky.
