Complete a System Refresh

A System Refresh is a built-in tool that checks and resolves common issues automatically.

Before you begin: This process may reboot all Rogers Xfinity set-top boxes and interrupt service and recordings for up to 10–20 minutes.

To start a System Refresh:

  1. Press the Abutton on your voice remote to open the Help
  2. If your remote doesn’t have an A button, say “Help” using voice command.
  3. Select System Refresh, then choose Refresh Now.

Important: Do not unplug or turn off your Rogers Xfinity set-top boxes during the refresh. They will reboot automatically.

Try the service on another device

To rule out issues with the streaming service itself:

  • Try the app on another device (e.g., computer, phone, tablet, Smart TV).
  • If the issue persists across devices, the third-party service may be experiencing problems. Contact their support team for help.
