How to Reset your Cisco DPC2325 Modem

Below are two different methods for resetting the Cisco DPC2325 modem.

1. Locate the Reset button on the back of the modem.
2. Press and hold the Reset button for 10 seconds.
3. After 10 seconds, release the button. The modem should restart and the lights will flash.
4. Once the modem is finished restarting and is online the settings will be back to default. At this stage you’ll need to set it up again manually. 

1. Open a web browser and type 192.168.0.1 in the address bar and press Enter.
2. Enter the following to access the modem settings:
   • Username: cusadmin
   • Password: password (or your current Wi-Fi password)
3. Select OK.
   •  If you’re unable to log in to the Admin interface, follow the ‘reset button’ method above to reset your modem.
4. Select Setup.
5. Under Basic Settings choose Reset Default.
6. Select Restore All Cable Modem Parameters to Factory Default Settings.
7. Once the modem is finished restarting and is online the settings will be back to default. At this stage you’ll need to set it up again manually.
