How to Set up Voicemail on Your Phone

Follow these steps to set up wireless voicemail for the first time:

To access your voicemail, hold down the number 1 on your keypad.
When prompted, enter the 4-digit password that was provided to you in a text message when you initially activated your device or added voicemail to your plan (the default is the last 4 digits of your phone number).
Follow the prompts to set up a new password and personalize your greeting (or you can use the default message).
You can check your voicemail from a landline. Dial your wireless number and when your recorded message kicks in, press # and then your password, and you're in.

To check your voicemail from another phone, dial your wireless number. When your recorded message plays, press # and then enter your password to hear your messages.

Voicemail shortcuts - Regular Voicemail

Access Voicemail:

Hold down the 1 on your keypad.

Message Playback:

Skip to the end of a message: Press 33
Rewind to beginning of a message: Press 11
Go back one message: Press 44
Fast-forward 10 seconds: Press 3
Rewind 10 seconds: Press 1
Dial caller’s phone number: Press 8

Turn on Password Skip:

This feature lets you to go straight to your messages without entering a password after holding down 1 on your keypad. Password Skip is not available on Mini Voicemail.

From the main menu, press 4 for Personal Options
Press 2 for Administrative Options
Press 1 for Establish or Change Password
Press 2 for Review or Change Password Skip Settings
Press 1 to turn Password Skip on. (If Password Skip is on, pressing 1 again will turn it off.)
