SportsApp on Ignite TV

The Sports App brings you to the front-and-centre of your favourite games and behind-the-scenes of the world’s most exciting leagues. Here’s how to use it.

Basic use

  1. Open Sports from the Apps menu or via a voice command. The app will display on the right side of your screen, allowing you to continue watching live TV on the left side.
  2. Browse the menu in the top-right corner, which breaks down content by your Favourites and by sports league, like NHL, NBA and more.

Watch a live game

  1. In Sports, select the game you’re interested in.
  2. If the game is currently playing live, you’ll have the option to select Watch. The game will begin to play on the left side of your screen, and the information panel will display on the right side.

Record a game

  1. In Sports, select the game you’re interested in.
  2. In the information panel, select More.
  3. Select Record. The recording will set automatically for the start time of the game.

Access Extra content

  1. In Sports, select the game you’re interested in.
  2. The information panel for that game will display on the right-hand side. Browse the available Extras by scrolling from left to right, where you can select Preview, Current Standings, Leaders, Team Stats and more.

Add a team to your Favourites

  1. In Sports, select a game that the team will be playing.
  2. In the information panel, select More.
  3. Select Add Favourites.
  4. Select the team you want to add, then select Done to confirm.
  5. The team can now be found under the Favourites menu in the information panel.
