IoT is here to stay

“IoT is not a side dish, it’s the main course.”

CMOs must embrace IoT this year to succeed, according to Banyan Hills Technologies CMO Deanna Salas. In “What CMOs Need To Know About The Internet Of Things” (Forbes), Salas argues IoT is paramount while other technologies, like blockchain and Big Data, matter mostly for how they bolster IoT.

As the past ten or so years have shown, unexpected inventions or innovations may change everything we know about technology and its uses. Nevertheless, IoT is big enough now to warrant CMOs’ serious attention.
