How to create and manage folders on your Samsung Galaxy Note8

Declutter your Home screen in minutes by tapping, holding and dragging apps into folders

The longer you have your Samsung Galaxy Note8, the more likely you are to begin experiencing “clutter” as your Home screen fills with the apps you use every day. Thankfully, you can clean up any disarray in a matter of minutes. Here's how to create app folders in a few simple steps.

1. Choose two apps that share a theme, such as a word-processing app and a spreadsheet app. Tap and hold one of these apps, then drag it on top of the other and let go when a folder frame appears. Both apps will be moved into the new folder.

2. Now tap Enter folder name and create an appropriate name – such as "Productivity" – for your new folder. Create multiple labeled folders accessible from your Home screen to streamline your work flow.

3. Continue adding apps to your new folders by tapping, holding and dragging them to their appropriate destinations.

4. To delete a folder, tap and hold it, then select Delete. The folder will disappear, but the apps it contained will remain, relocated back to the Home page.
