Important update about your Rogers Smart Home Monitoring service

Your Rogers Smart Home Monitoring system currently uses the Rogers 3G mobile network for cellular backup in the event of a power outage or network interruption. As the 3G mobile network is being retired, the cellular backup feature on your current touchpad will stop working after September 26, 2025.

We’re reaching out to customers whose touchpads are affected. If your device requires an update, you’ll receive a notification from us. For more information, please contact us.

Wireless Two-Way Voice service limitations

If you use the Wireless Two-Way Voice feature, the Central Monitoring Station will no longer be able to contact you through the touchpad. Instead, they’ll call your phone number and emergency contacts.

To stay connected:

  • Contact us to update your phone number.
  • Use the Smart Home Monitoring app to update your emergency contacts.

Power outages and network interruptions

In the event of a power outage or network interruption, your touchpad will not send alerts to the Central Monitoring Station, and app notifications will be unavailable. If you hear the alarm, please call emergency services directly.
