How to reboot your Rogers Xfinity Motion Sensor
Follow these steps to reboot the detector.
- Holding the Rogers Xfinity Motion Sensor upright, push up on the body to slide it off the battery cover.
- Press the tamper switch next to the lower battery for 1 to 2 seconds and release.
- Mount the sensor back on the battery cover by sliding it downward until it clicks.
Your Rogers Xfinity Motion Sensor will reboot.
How to factory reset your Rogers Xfinity Motion Sensor
Please note that factory resetting your Rogers Xfinity Motion Sensor will remove the device from your network. It will need to be paired again.
Follow these steps to reset the sensor to default settings.
- Holding the Rogers Xfinity Motion Sensor upright, push up on the body to slide it off the battery cover.
- Press and hold down the sensor’s tamper switch, located on the back of the sensor next to the lower battery.
- Insert one of the two batteries into the sensor.
- Release the tamper switch within 4 seconds (the LED blinks 3 times every 5 seconds).
- Insert the second battery.
