How to Sign Into and Change the Password of Hitron CGN3 Series Modems

You can sign into the admin tool connected to your Hitron CGN3, Hitron CGN3M35 or Hitron CGN3 ACR modem and change its password in just a few steps.

Note: This article does not provide instructions for the Hitron CGN3 AMR modem. To learn how to sign into and change the password of the Hitron CGN3 AMR modem, check out this article.

1. Open a web browser and visit 192.168.0.1.
2. Sign in using the following credentials:
   • Username: Cusadmin
   • Password: password (or your easy connect Wi-Fi password)

Note: If you’ve changed your password in the past, you can still use your original easy connect password to sign in.

Note, this won’t change your Wi-Fi password – only your modem’s password. To edit your Wi-Fi password, check out this article.

1. Open a web browser and visit 192.168.0.1.
2. Sign in using the following credentials:
   • Username: Cusadmin
   • Password: password (or your easy connect Wi-Fi password
3. Under Admin, select Management.

From here, you can change and save your new password.
