Restarting your Ignite SmartStream Box

There are four easy ways to restart your Ignite SmartStream Box.

By manually unplugging

  1. Unplug your Ignite SmartStream Box from the power outlet.
  2. Wait 30 seconds.
  3. Plug your Ignite SmartStream Box back in.
  4. An Ignite SmartStream welcome screen will display, and the Box should resume functioning normally.

From the Help menu

  1. Press the A button on your Voice Remote to open the Help
  2. Select Restart.
  3. Select Restart again to confirm.
  4. Wait a few moments for the system to reboot.
  5. An Ignite SmartStream welcome screen will display, and the Box should resume functioning normally.

With the Power button

  1. Make sure all your SmartStream cables are tightly secured.
  2. Hold the Power button on your Voice Remote for 10 seconds to restart the SmartStream Box.
  3. An Ignite SmartStream welcome screen will display, and the Box should resume functioning normally.

From Device Settings

  1. Press the Rogers button on your Voice Remote to open the SmartStream main menu.
  2. Select Settings (the gear icon).
  3. Select Device Settings.
  4. Select Power Preferences.
  5. Select Restart.
  6. Select Restart again to confirm.
  7. An Ignite SmartStream welcome screen will display, and the Box should resume functioning normally.
