There are four easy ways to restart your Ignite SmartStream Box.
Restarting your Ignite SmartStream Box
By manually unplugging
- Unplug your Ignite SmartStream Box from the power outlet.
- Wait 30 seconds.
- Plug your Ignite SmartStream Box back in.
- An Ignite SmartStream welcome screen will display, and the Box should resume functioning normally.
From the Help menu
- Press the A button on your Voice Remote to open the Help
- Select Restart.
- Select Restart again to confirm.
- Wait a few moments for the system to reboot.
- An Ignite SmartStream welcome screen will display, and the Box should resume functioning normally.
With the Power button
- Make sure all your SmartStream cables are tightly secured.
- Hold the Power button on your Voice Remote for 10 seconds to restart the SmartStream Box.
- An Ignite SmartStream welcome screen will display, and the Box should resume functioning normally.
From Device Settings
- Press the Rogers button on your Voice Remote to open the SmartStream main menu.
- Select Settings (the gear icon).
- Select Device Settings.
- Select Power Preferences.
- Select Restart.
- Select Restart again to confirm.
- An Ignite SmartStream welcome screen will display, and the Box should resume functioning normally.
