Email setup on Microsoft devices
If you just got a new Microsoft computer or tablet, setting up email is one of the first things you’ll do.
- Visit the Microsoft support website.
- Select your device from the list.
- Follow the instructions to finish setting up email on your Microsoft device.

These are the (IMAP) email settings we recommend you use, when asked:
Account Type: IMAP
Username: Your email address without @shaw.ca
Password: Your email password

Incoming Server Name: imap.shaw.ca
Incoming Server Security Type: SSL

Outgoing Server Name: mail.shaw.ca
Outgoing Server Security Type: TLS

To use POP3 incoming mail server, use these settings:

Username: Your email address, without @shaw.ca
