FAQs
5-Year Price Guarantee
The 5-Year Price Guarantee is available for new customers who get a 5G+ Ultimate plan.
Existing customers can get the 5-Year Price Guarantee if they switch to an eligible plan.
The 5-Year Price Guarantee means the monthly price (including ongoing discounts) of your plan won’t increase for 5 years. That’s guaranteed if:
- You remain on the same plan for 5 years
- You meet requirements for your ongoing discounts (e.g., you must remain on Auto-Pay to keep getting the Auto-Pay discount).
Time-limited discounts (e.g., discounts offered for less than 5 years) expire when the duration ends.
Yes, the 5-Year Price Guarantee starts at the same time your plan does.
Your Mobile Service Agreement will have the expiry date of the 5-Year Price Guarantee. You’ll also get a reminder on your invoice 3 months before your 5-Year Price Guarantee ends.
Unlimited high-speed data plans
Plans with unlimited high speed data give you our fastest 5G+ speeds so you can stream, browse, and use your apps without ever having to think about data limits. You get unlimited high speed data that stays fast, no matter how much you use.
If you’re looking to get an unlimited high-speed data plan, you can switch to one of our new 5G+ plans with unlimited high speed data. This gives you access to our fastest available 5G+ speeds, up to 2 Gbps.
Yes, you can still track your data usage on MyRogers.
When travelling, whether you are using Roam Like Home or the destination is covered by your plan, your high-speed data is unlimited. Keep in mind that when roaming on another carrier’s network, actual speeds and performance will vary. 5G service may not be available and usage on those networks may be subject to speed and/or data restrictions. Your primary data usage must be on your smartphone on the Rogers network within Canada.
High-speed data isn’t available with Rogers Satellite at this time. However, messaging and satellite-ready apps are available.
Priority Network Access
Priority Network Access puts you at the front of the line on the Rogers 5G+ network, giving you priority access and our fastest speeds available, even during peak times. Think of Priority Network Access as the fast lane on a highway. You share the network with other customers, but you’ll enjoy relatively faster speed because your data is prioritized.
Benefits include streaming with less lag, smoother video calls and overall faster browsing during big events. This also works on occasions when there are a lot of users on a cell tower.
If your plan include Priority Network Access, it automatically starts with plan activation. No action is required.
Priority Network Access is most noticeable during big events or if there are a lot of users on a cell tower.
Rogers mobile plans
With Rogers mobile plans, you can get unlimited high-speed data or with a high-speed data bucket.
- They offer 5G and 5G+ (or 3500 MHz spectrum) network access.
- You’ll never have to worry about running out of data or getting overage charges on your bill.
- If you have a high-speed data bucket and use all of it, you can still use unlimited data at reduced speeds (up to 512kbps).
- You can use them as standalone plans or share the data with up to 10 Rogers mobile lines.
- Rogers mobile plans are compatible with Roam Like HomeTM, Extended Coverage and Data Manager.
You’ll need a 5G or a 5G+ device and a 5G SIM to experience ultra-fast speeds and enhanced connectivity. You’ll also need to be in a 5G or 5G+ network coverage area.
You can find out if your device has 5G+ capabilities in the device specifications. The device must support the n78 band to access 5G+. Learn more about the benefits of 5G.
