How to Change Your Voicemail Greeting

You can choose a Standard voicemail greeting or a Personalized voicemail greeting when a caller is unable to reach you directly.

Set up your voicemail greeting from your landline phone or right from your wireless device.

From a Landline

  1. Call your voicemail by calling your phone number from a landline.
  2. When you hear the voicemail greeting, Press the # key to interrupt greeting.
    1. You will then be prompted to enter your voicemail password and will be brought to the voicemail’s main menu.
  3. From the Main menu
    1. Select Personal Options by pressing 4.
    2. To change Greeting or Name by pressing 3.
    3. Select the Personal Greeting by pressing 1 

Follow the prompts to record, listen to, re-record and save your greeting.

You're done.

From a Wireless

Press and hold the 1 key to access the voicemail system.

  1. You will then be prompted to enter your voicemail password and will be brought to the voicemail’s main menu.
  1. From the Main menu
    1. Select Personal Options by pressing 4.
    2. To change Greeting or Name by pressing 3.
    3. Select the Personal Greeting by pressing 1.
  2. Follow the prompts to record, listen to, re-record and save your greeting.

You're done.

You can change your greeting at any time, such as when you go on vacation or if you are unable to access voicemail for a period of time.
