Install A Novatel MC950D On A PC

The following steps explain how to install and set up the Novatel MC950D Rocket Stick on a PC.

1. Insert the Novatel device into the USB port on PC.
2. Windows will detect new hardware automatically and install the drivers and software. 
3. After the installation is complete, the connection software will open automatically.
4. Click Settings.
5. Click Profile Manager.
6. Click New to create a new profile.
7. Leave the Username, Password and Verify Password fields blank.
8. Enter the following:
   • Profile Name: This name can be anything that will help identify the connection
   • APN: isp.apn
   • PDP Type: IP
9. Click Next.
10. Click Finish.
11. Select the profile and click Set Default.
12. Click OK.
