FAQs and Subscription Terms - Disney+ Standard with Ads

The following FAQs are terms and conditions about the Disney+ Standard with Ads subscription included with select Ignite TV packages. For information about the Disney+ Standard with Ads tier, please visit disneyplus.com.

Who is eligible for Disney+ in their package?

Disney+ Standard with Ads is currently available to Internet + Ignite TV customers who subscribe to one of the following packages: Total, Popular, Premier, Ultimate or Flex 20. 

What if I already have an active Disney+ subscription?

  • If you’re a new or returning Disney+ subscriber, you can redeem the Disney+ Standard with Ads subscription included in your Ignite TV package and complete account setup today.
  • If you’re a current Disney+  subscriber, you will have to cancel your existing subscription before you can redeem the Disney+ Standard with Ads subscription included in your Ignite TV package to avoid having two subscriptions. Contact Rogers for further details.
  • If you have an Extra Member add-on through Disney+, you’ll continue to have access to it and Disney+ will continue to bill you for the Extra Member until you cancel it.

Will this offer expire?

  • This service is included with eligible Ignite TV packages; it is not a promotion or offer. If no action is taken within 12 months, Rogers reserves the right to remove the service and you may need to contact Rogers if you wish to re-enroll.
  • As with all services, content offerings included in the Ignite TV packages, such as Disney+ Standard with Ads, are subject to change with prior notice in accordance with your residential service agreement and terms of service available here.
  • If you downgrade your TV package or unsubscribe from Rogers, your Disney+ Standard with Ads subscription will no longer be available through Rogers.

Are upgrades to Disney+ Standard or Premium tiers available?

  • Upgrades to Disney+ Standard or Premium tiers are not currently available as part of your package.
  • We always want to offer our customers the best experiences and look forward to offering the ability to upgrade in the future. More details to come!

Can I opt out or cancel Disney+ with Rogers?

  • Once redeemed, the Disney+ Standard with Ads subscription will remain active until you cancel by contacting Disney+ Customer Support, or until Rogers changes or cancels the subscription in accordance with your residential service agreement and terms of service available here, or Disney+ changes or cancels its Disney+ Standard with Ads subscription plan in accordance with the Disney+ Subscriber Agreement available here.
  • There will be no price adjustment on your Ignite TV package if you do not use Disney+ Standard with Ads.

What will I see on my Rogers invoice?

Disney+ Standard with Ads will not appear as a separate service on your Rogers bill as it is included within your eligible TV package. We are working to be able to show this on your future statements so you can easily see all content you receive as an Ignite TV customer.

How do I activate my included Disney+ Standard with Ads subscription?

If you qualify, you’ll see a banner to activate your included Disney+ Standard with Ads subscription when you sign in to MyRogers and navigate to your TV dashboard

You can activate using that banner or the link in the email you’ve received.
