How to use the Rogers Xfinity Stream app on Amazon Fire TV

The Rogers Xfinity Stream app is available on Amazon Fire TV devices and Fire Tablets, including the same great features you get with the Rogers Xfinity Stream app. This article explains how to install and access the Rogers Xfinity Stream app on your Fire TV device.

Requirements

To use the Rogers Xfinity Stream app on Fire TV, you must have a TV subscription and an Amazon Fire TV branded streaming device. 

Supported Fire TV devices include Smart TVs running Fire OS 7 and above, and Fire Tablets.

How to access

Watching Rogers Xfinity TV from your Fire TV device can be done in a few easy steps. Download the app from the Appstore on your Fire TV. 

Activate and login 

  1. Launch the Rogers Xfinity Stream app from your Fire TV home screen. 

  1. Select Get Started. A 6-digit access code will pop up with instructions on how to activate your account and login. 

  1. In a web browser, go to rogers.com/activate or activate.shaw.ca. 

  1. Login with your MyRogers or Shaw ID email and password. 

  1. Enter the 6-digit code shown on your TV or tablet and select Activate. 

You're all set to watch Rogers Xfinity TV on your Fire TV device!

Using the app

You can navigate the Rogers Xfinity Stream app on Fire TV the same way you would on your mobile device or computer, and it includes most of the same features. 

Note: The Rogers Xfinity Stream app on Fire TV does not support Download-to-go or in-app purchases.
