If the buttons on your Rogers Xfinity voice remote are still unresponsive, you may need to perform a factory reset.
To perform a factory reset:
- Activate the programming mode on your remote
- XR11 (2017 model): Press the Setup button until the LED at the top of the remote changes from red to green
- XR15 (2020 model): Press the A and D buttons until the LED at the top of the remote changes from red to green
- Press 9 - 8 - 1
- The LED will blink green twice to indicate that the remote was reset
- After the factory reset is complete, you'll need to re-pair your remote with a TV box.
Note: Pairing the remote to a TV box means that the remote will control only that box unless it is paired to a different box. If you have multiple TV boxes and have paired your remote to one of your TV boxes, make sure that you are not using the remote that is paired to that specific cable box.
