On your Gateway system, you have the option to either show only subscribed channels or remove individual channels from the channel listings in your interactive guide. You can hide channels to make it easier to find them or to hide certain content from showing up in the guide (like adult content). Hiding channels on your Arris Gateway TV guide
Hiding unsubscribed channels
Follow these steps to hide channels that you aren't subscribed to and aren't part of your current channel package.

Access the channel list.

Press MENU on your remote.

Select Settings and push down twice.

Press the OK on Channel List.

Press the RIGHT arrow button on the remote control to select Options for Unsubscribed Channels.

Put a check in the box for Hide Unsubscribed Channels.

Channels you’re not subscribed to will now be hidden.
Removing channels from your Arris Gateway TV guide
The following steps explain how to hide channels in the guide using the Arris Gateway.

Press the [MENU] button on the remote.

Select Settings by using the [LEFT]/[RIGHT] arrows.

Select Channel List and press [OK].

Scroll through the list and press [OK] on the channel to be hidden from the Channel List. The yellow icon next to the channel should then disappear.

To unhide the channel, press [OK] on the channel again and the yellow icon should reappear.
