Using the Ignite TV App

With the Ignite TV_TM app, you can watch your favourites anywhere, anytime.

1. Download the Ignite TV app to your mobile device from the App Store or Google Play Store.  

2. Make sure you’re registered for MyRogers. This is required for App Sign In.

   1. • Haven’t registered yet? You can do so here.
      • Registered but forgot your username or password? Reset your credentials here.

Watching Ignite TV on your computer or laptop?  Visit this page for your instructions. 

1. Swipe from left to right to open the main menu. You can also select the menu icon in the top left corner.
2. Select a way to watch:
   • Saved: View the For You screen, your completed and scheduled recordings. View your Favourites, purchases and downloads. Access Download & Go.
   • Live TV: Browse All Channels (with TV listings), your Favourite Channels or TV Go Channels (watch on the go!).
   • Browse: Search for live and On Demand movies and TV shows by genre.
3. To navigate through the Live TV channel guide:
   • Swipe up and down to navigate view the channels.
   • Swipe left to right to find out what’s playing next.
   • Use the date picker to jump to specific days and times (in the upper left corner of the screen).
   • Use the Filter at the top of the screen to find specific channels (on the go, High Definition, Closed captioning, Secondary Audio and Audio Description).

1. You can find the menu at the bottom of the screen.
2. Select a way to watch:
   • Home: Main page.
   • Live TV: Browse all your channels with TV listings.
   • My Library: Lists your channels, your favourite shows and sports teams. You can find your completed and scheduled recordings and your purchases and downloads. 
   • Search: Use titles and keywords or browse by genre.
3. To navigate through the Live TV channel guide:
   • Swipe up and down to view the channels.
   • Swipe left to right to find out what’s playing next.
   • Use the date picker to jump to specific days and times (in the upper left corner of the screen).
   • Use the Filter at the top of the screen to find specific channels (on the go, High Definition, Closed Captioning, Secondary Audio and Audio Description).

Learn how to use the Download & Go feature of the Ignite TV_™ app, which lets you download a program to watch on your mobile device.

1. Tap Saved. All your Ignite TV recordings and purchases will display.
2. Tap the program you want to download.
3. Once downloaded to your mobile device, the title will be “checked out” from the rest of your Ignite TV – so you can only access it on your device until you return the title to the Cloud.

1. In the Ignite TV app, tap Saved.
2. Tap the downloaded program you want to return.
3. Tap Return.

Good to know: Returning a program to your PVR removes it from your device and makes it available to watch on TV or to download on another device.

Conveniently record episodes of your favourite shows or even the entire series to your Cloud PVR, just by using the app.

1. To schedule a recording, open Menu located on the top left-hand corner.
2. To record from the Guide:
   • Select All Channels in the ‘Live TV’ section.
   • Choose the program you’d like to record and select Record.
   • Choose the option you prefer: record one episode; or the entire series
3. To record from a show or movie-title page:
   • In the “Browse” section select TV.
   • Choose the program you want to record.
   • Select Record Series
   • Review the recording settings and select Confirm.
