How to disable compatibility view

  1. Open Internet Explorer.
  2. Click on the Tools menu (you may have to press Alt to bring up the menu).
  3. If the Compatibility View box is checked, click to remove checkmark.
  4. Click Tools again.
  5. Select Compatibility View Settings.
    • Make sure "rogers.com" is not listed under "Websites you've added to Compatibility View."
  6. Close and reopen Internet Explorer.
  7. Go to rogers.com.

Modify Account Settings (IMAP) Mac Mail

The following steps explain how to configure Mac Mail with IMAP settings.

  1. Click Mail.
  2. Click Preferences.
  3. Click Accounts.
  4. In the Accounts window, click Account Information and check the following:
    • E-mail Address: Full Rogers e-mail address
    • Incoming Mail Server: imap.mail.yahoo.com
    • Username: Full Rogers e-mail address
    • Password: E-mail password
  5. Click the drop down menu on Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) and click Edit Server List.
  6. In the Edit Server List window, check the following:
    • Description: Name of the server
    • Server Name: smtp.mail.yahoo.com
  7. Click Advanced.
  8. Check the following information:
    • Use Custom Port: This should be checked and 465 should be entered into the box
    • Use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL): This box should be checked
    • Authentication: Password
    • User Name: Full Rogers e-mail address
    • Password: Rogers e-mail password
  9. Click OK.
  10. Click Advanced and check the following:
    • Port: 993
    • Use SSL: This box should be checked
    • Authentication: Password
  11. Close the Preferences window and send a test E-Mail to make sure the settings are correct and the E-mail is working.
