How to set up hold music and greetings in Advantage Voice (Unison)

What is my Music on Hold library?

Your Music on Hold library has recorded original and licensed music for your callers to listen to while they are on hold.

Advantage Voice doesn't play hold music automatically, but you can use the system's default music or upload other music or promotional audio if you have permission.

What is a greeting?

For Advantage Voice, a greeting is the automated message that plays for callers. You can record or upload different greetings for calls received during business hours, after hours, and on holidays. Schedule these using the Auto Attendant.

How do I add hold music or greetings to my library?

To set up hold music or upload a greeting, follow these steps:

If you haven't signed into your account yet:

Go to MyBusiness Hub sign-in page.
Select Sign in.
Enter your username and password.

Check the Remember me box, if you want the browser to remember your sign-in credentials for next time.

Once you’re signed in:

Select Go to RogersUnison.
Select Service Settings
Select Greetings and Music on Hold Library.

How to add hold music

Select Music on Hold.
Select Edit Settings.
Select Add New Music.
Select Choose an Audio file.
Select Upload.
Select the hold music that you want.
Select Save.

How to upload a greeting

Select Greetings.
Select Add New.
Select one of the two options: Upload a Greeting or Record a Greeting.
1. If you choose to upload:
  - Select Browse.
  - Select the preferred greeting. All greetings must be WAV files.
  - Select Save.
2. If you choose to record:
  - Enter name of file.
  - Select record button.
  - Select Save when you’re done.
To edit a greeting:
1. Select Greetings
2. Select Edit on the greeting you want to update.
3. Select Remove on the greeting you want to delete from your library.
