FAQs about Roam Like Home Travel Pass

Roam Like Home Travel Pass is an add-on that lets you use your data, talk and text plan like you do at home while roaming in the U.S. and/or select international destinations for a set duration.

Note: The Travel passes don’t have a separate usage bucket. They use the data, talk and text amounts included in your plan.

You can use your plan’s data, talk and text features within your travel destination that is included in the Travel Pass locally, and back to Canada.

You won't get charged for Roam Like Home Daily if you travel within the eligible destinations and duration of your Travel Pass.

You can get a Travel Pass by signing in to MyBusiness Hub and managing your add-ons on the number you want it for.

You’ll find the charge on the next bill after your Travel Pass’ activation date.

To ensure a great roaming experience, keep note of the following:

• If you’ve disabled Roam Like Home on your account, ensure you reactivate it during your travel period. An easy way to check if Roam Like Home is enabled is by texting TRAVEL to 222 or by contacting your Business Telco Admin
  
  

Your discount won’t show up in the order summary. However, you’ll find it in your bill when you get charged for the travel pass.

To check if you’re eligible for the Roam Like Home Travel Pass discount, check your Mobile Service Agreement.

Yes! You can get it up to 60 days before your travel date. You must then set its activation date by signing into your MyBusiness Hub before you travel.

Keep in mind:

• When you activate your Travel Pass, it starts at 12 a.m. ET on the date of activation (Day 1) and ends at 11:59 p.m. ET on the final day (Day 14 or 30).
• You can set travel dates or cancel your Travel Pass start date by signing in to MyBusiness Hub and managing your add-ons on the number with the Travel Pass.
  
  

Unfortunately, it’s not possible to set the start date back with Travel Passes. If you’ve started travelling before you get your pass, you’ll receive the Roam Like Home daily charge until your Travel Pass’ activation starts. Once the pass starts, you’ll then be covered for the duration of the Travel Pass.

Important: You are only covered from when a Travel Pass starts not before.

You can’t renew a Travel Pass. However, you can buy another one and choose a start date based on when the previous one ends. This makes sure you get the benefits of the Travel Pass throughout your trip!
