Eligibility and requirements

To subscribe to Rogers Xfinity Pro, you must have an active Rogers Xfinity Internet plan or bundle.

Features

  • Upgrade to the Rogers Xfinity Gateway Modem (Gen 4): Our newest generation of Rogers Xfinity Gateway features WiFi 7, the latest WiFi technology and is capable of multi-gig WiFi speeds (Actual connection speed will vary by internet tier, subscription and other factors). It’s ideal for busy households with multiple devices and high bandwidth usage, such as streaming, gaming, and remote work.
    • Note: Customers with a Rogers Xfinity Gateway Modem Gen 1, Gen 2 or Gen 3 are upgraded to the Rogers Xfinity Gateway Modem (Gen 4) with WiFi 7 as part of this add-on.
  • Rogers Xfinity Storm-Ready WiFi extender with Battery Backup: This service extends your WiFi coverage and includes a battery backup that provides up to 4 hours of power to keep you online during power outages. It features automatic cellular backup for your internet connection for added peace of mind.
  • Enhanced wall-to-wall WiFi coverage: Rogers Xfinity Pro includes professional installation, on us, for our best equipment with the latest WiFi technology. A Rogers technician will assess and optimize your home network setup to ensure strong signal strength in every room.
  • Boost a Device: With the Rogers Xfinity app, you can prioritize WiFi for a connected device, whether you're streaming, gaming, or working. Select the device and boost its connection for up to 8 hours. You can switch the boost to another device anytime to keep your most important activities running smoothly.
    • When you subscribe to Rogers Xfinity Pro, this feature will appear automatically in the app as a new button under the WiFi tab.
  • Front-of-the-line support: Rogers Xfinity Pro customers receive professional installation on us when ordering Rogers Xfinity Pro and front-of-the-line access. Call Technical Support using the phone number associated with your account. Get access once your Rogers Xfinity Pro equipment is shipped or installed.

Subscribing

If you’re a new customer:

  • When purchasing a Rogers Xfinity Internet plan or bundle, you can add-on Rogers Xfinity Pro by going to Your cart and under the Shop add-ons section, find Rogers Xfinity Pro and select Add to cart.

If you’re a MyRogers customer and already have an internet plan or bundle:

  1. Sign in to MyRogers.
  2. From the Overview page, either scroll down to the Residential section or go to the Usage & Services dropdown and select either Internet or TV.
  3. In the Offers & perks or Add-ons section, select the option for Rogers Xfinity Pro or call 1-888-764-3771. An agent will help you with subscribing to Rogers Xfinity Pro.

If you’re a MyRogers (Shaw) customer and already have an internet plan or bundle:

  • Add Rogers Xfinity Pro to your internet plan or bundle using the online order form. Check Rogers Xfinity Pro and then select Proceed to checkout.

Note: If you already have the Rogers Xfinity Gateway Modem (Gen 4) or Storm-Ready WiFi extender service, you can subscribe to Rogers Xfinity Pro and keep your current equipment. Your separate subscription to Storm-Ready WiFi extender will be cancelled.

FAQs

What do I do with my previous gateway now that I have Rogers Xfinity Pro?

  • If you choose professional installation, the technician will provide the new equipment and advise on returning the old one.
  • For self-installation, the new equipment will be shipped to you with set-up guides. You can return your old hardware by following the instructions at Return or recycle your rental equipment.
