The following steps are used when one or more motion sensors are experiencing issues with sensitivity.
- Use a flat head screwdriver to press the back cover tabs to release the back cover.
- Modify the coverage pattern as follows:
- Plastic mask method
- Use one or both supplied plastic masks to mask off large areas of coverage.
- Adhesive label method
- Mask the appropriate mirror curtains with the supplied adhesive labels. Do not use sharp objects to remove unwanted labels, as the mirror can get scratched. If necessary, peel off the label.
- Cardboard mask method
- Use the cardboard under crawl window mask. The under crawl mask allows objects to be placed within 5 feet (1.5 m) of, or directly below, the SMCMT01-Z. Remove mask if not used.
- Plastic mask method
- The sensor's coverage pattern is now successfully changed.
