Turn your voicemail on or off

Your Home & AwayTM voicemail can be turned off or back on just by following these simple steps.

Keep in mind: To fully disable Rogers Voicemail so you can use your own answering machine, you’ll need to turn off your voicemail in two ways: 1) unanswered calls continue to ring; and 2) callers hear a busy signal. Both are outlined in the steps below.

To turn OFF voicemail so unanswered calls continue to ring:

  1. Pick up your phone and dial *93.
  2. Listen for 2 beeps confirming that voicemail has been turned off.
  3. All set, you can now hang up.

To turn voicemail back ON so unanswered calls will be directed to voicemail:

  1. Pick up your phone and dial *92.
  2. Listen for 2 beeps confirming that voicemail has been turned on.
  3. All set, you can now hang up.

Turn voicemail OFF so callers hear a busy signal while you're on the phone:

  1. Pick up your phone and dial *91.
  2. Listen for 2 beeps confirming the voicemail has been turned off.
  3. Done! Simply hang up.

To turn voicemail back ON so callers will be directed to voicemail instead of hearing a busy signal:

  1. Pick up your phone and dial *90.
  2. Listen for 2 beeps confirming that voicemail has been turned on.
  3. Done! Simply hang up.
