Follow these simple steps to set up your Rogers Xfinity Gateway if your Rogers Xfinity app isn’t available or you don’t have a device that works with it.
- When you’ve powered on your Gateway, wait for the light to flash white for a few seconds. This may take a few minutes.
- If the light goes solid white, it may already be set up. If you have a new Gateway, you should factory reset
- Connect your device to the WiFi network named EasyConnect-#### or WIFI-#### and the password as shown on the bottom of your Rogers Xfinity Gateway.
- Make sure your device’s WiFi is turned on. Check your Settings or Connection options, or select the WiFi icon.
- You can also connect to a computer with an Ethernet cable.
- If the Easy Connect setup page doesn’t open automatically, open your browser and go to http://10.0.0.1.
- You can select your preferred language. You might need to select the asterisk (*) on the screen to reveal your options.
- Select Let’s Get Set Up.
- Enter your preferred WiFi Name and Password and select Next.
- It’ll appear when all the required fields are filled out.
- Confirm your WiFi settings and select Next.
After a few minutes, your new WiFi name will show up in your network list. You can use your new password to connect.
