Set up your Rogers Xfinity Gateway with Easy Connect

Follow these simple steps to set up your Rogers Xfinity Gateway if your Rogers Xfinity app isn’t available or you don’t have a device that works with it. 

  1. When you’ve powered on your Gateway, wait for the light to flash white for a few seconds. This may take a few minutes.
  • If the light goes solid white, it may already be set up. If you have a new Gateway, you should factory reset
  1. Connect your device to the WiFi network named EasyConnect-#### or WIFI-#### and the password as shown on the bottom of your Rogers Xfinity Gateway.
  • Make sure your device’s WiFi is turned on. Check your Settings or Connection options, or select the WiFi icon.
  • You can also connect to a computer with an Ethernet cable.
  1. If the Easy Connect setup page doesn’t open automatically, open your browser and go to http://10.0.0.1.
  • You can select your preferred language. You might need to select the asterisk (*) on the screen to reveal your options.
  1. Select Let’s Get Set Up.
  2. Enter your preferred WiFi Name and Password and select Next.
  3. It’ll appear when all the required fields are filled out.
  4. Confirm your WiFi settings and select Next.

After a few minutes, your new WiFi name will show up in your network list. You can use your new password to connect.
