How to Change your MyWiFi App Password

Forgot your MyWiFi app password? Follow these instructions to learn how to reset the password for your MyWiFi app account.

The MyWiFi app uses your modem’s admin password. Based on your modem’s setup, this password is either your current WiFi password or simply “password”. If you’ve forgotten your password, and neither of these work, there are two ways to reset your MyWiFi app password:

  1. Do it yourself by factory resetting your modem
  2. Contact Rogers Technical Support

Factory reset your modem

  1. Locate the Reset button on the back of your modem.support-resetbutton-coda-modem
  2. Press and hold the Reset button for 10 seconds, then release. The modem will restart and its lights will flash.
  3. Once the modem is finished restarting and is back online, the @ icon will turn a solid green colour and the settings will be set to default, including the modem password.
  4. On your smartphone or computer, open a web browser to complete the password reset using Rogers Easy Connect.
    • Note: Easy Connect will ask for a new WiFi network name and password. It’s highly recommended to use your existing network name and password, so that all the devices in your home will automatically reconnect without extra hassle.
  5. That’s it – the WiFi password you entered during the Easy Connect process is now your MyWiFi app password as well.
