Your Rogers Xfinity Gateway is the modem that connects your home to the internet. You can manage most settings using the Rogers Xfinity app or by signing in directly to the gateway when needed.

Sign in to your gateway using a web browser
Some settings, such as the admin password, require signing in directly to the gateway. Your Rogers Xfinity admin password is the unique code printed on the bottom of your gateway.
Before you start, make sure your device is connected to your home WiFi.
- Open a web browser.
- Enter https://10.0.0.1 in the address bar.
- If a security message appears, choose the option to continue.
- Sign in using:

- Username: admin
- Admin password: found on the label on the bottom of your gateway.
If this is your first time signing in, you’ll be prompted to create a new admin password.
Change your Rogers Xfinity Gateway admin password
Your Rogers Xfinity admin password is the unique code printed on the bottom of your gateway. To change your admin password:
- Sign in to your Rogers Xfinity Gateway.
- Select Troubleshooting.
- Select Change Password.
- Enter your new password. Use a password that's easy for you to remember and hard for others to guess.
- Save your changes.
Factory reset your gateway
A factory reset removes all custom settings, including your WiFi name and password. Use this option only when necessary.
- Sign in to your gateway at https://10.0.0.1.
- Select Troubleshooting, then Reset/Restore Gateway.
- Select Restore Factory Settings.
After the reset, you’ll need to set up your gateway again using the Rogers Xfinity app.
