Remove Wireless Profile Windows 8

The following steps explain how to remove previously saved wireless profiles on the Windows 8 operating system.

If the settings of your wireless network have been changed, sometimes you may have to remove the profile and reconnect to your wireless network.

  1. Drag the cursor to the far top right hand corner of the screen.
  2. A menu should appear with five icons, click the Settings icon.
  3. At the bottom there should be six icon, click on the first icon which will show as Available or the name of your Wi-Fi network.
  4. Find your wireless network on the list of networks and right click it.
  5. Click Forget.
