The Rogers Xfinity app is for Rogers Internet customers who have the Rogers Xfinity Gateway modem. Check under Internet on your MyRogers or MyRogers (Shaw) account.

Turn Parental Controls on or off with the Rogers Xfinity app
- Sign in to the Rogers Xfinity app.
- Select WiFi.
- Select Manage people.
- Choose your child’s profile or select Add a person to create a profile for them.
- Select the Settings icon. Select Parental Controls.
- Toggle Enabled to turn it on or off.
Once Parental Controls are on, devices assigned to your selected profile are blocked from content that may be inappropriate for children. When enabled, Google SafeSearch is On, Bing SafeSearch is Strict, and YouTube Restricted Mode is On.
Things to keep in mind
- Parental Controls help block inappropriate content, but they can't catch everything. Keep practising online safety with your family.
- Content seen before you turn on Parental Controls may still show on the device for up to 24 hours.
- Parental Controls only work on your Rogers Xfinity Internet connection. They don't work on a separate cellular or public WiFi connection, or if your gateway is in Bridge Mode.
- If you use a VPN or Apple iCloud Private Relay, Parental Controls may not work as expected.
- Parental Controls don't apply to content watched through the Rogers Xfinity TV service or Rogers Xfinity Stream app.
