Who can pay their Netflix on the Rogers bill
You can use this option if you have:
- Rogers Xfinity TV
- Rogers Xfinity Streaming
- Rogers App TV
- Rogers App TV with StreamSaver
- Rogers Streaming
- StreamSaver
- Rogers Mobile
Available for new and existing Netflix customers. Rogers Xfinity App TV customers, your payment method will pause and billing will move to your Rogers account.
How to switch to Rogers billing
Already have Netflix. Cancel for 1 billing cycle before switching to Rogers billing. Without cancelling first, Netflix will keep charging your current payment method. To remove your payment information and temporarily cancel:
- Open Netflix on your device.
- Open your account menu and select Account.
- Select Cancel Membership.
- Select Finish Cancellation.
- Select Back to Account and then Billing Details to see your next bill date.
Netflix keeps your viewing activity and recommendations for 10 months. Wait 7 days after your scheduled bill date, then sign up for Netflix through Rogers.
How to subscribe to Rogers billing for Netflix
You can subscribe through your Rogers account or your TV box.
For mobile customers:
- Sign in to MyRogers or MyRogers (Shaw).
- Scroll to the Add More Services section and select Let's Go under Netflix.
- Review and accept the terms and conditions.
- Complete the sign-up process on the Netflix website.
For Rogers Xfinity TV customers:
- Open the Apps menu on your TV.
- Select Netflix.
- Select Join Now.
- Follow the prompts to create your account.
How to find your Netflix sign-in details
If you forget your Netflix email or username, you can find it through your Rogers account or device.
For mobile customers: sign in to rogers.com and select Let's Go under the Netflix icon. This takes you to the Netflix sign-in page where your username will appear.
For TV and streaming customers: Open the Netflix app on your Rogers Xfinity set-top box or Rogers Streaming device. Choose a profile and select Get Help. Your email address is listed in the Member section. If the app is logged out, contact Netflix support for help.
How to update your Netflix email address
If you linked the wrong Netflix account when setting up StreamSaver, Rogers Xfinity Streaming, Rogers App TV, or Rogers App TV with StreamSaver, you can update your email address.
- Sign in to MyRogers or MyRogers (Shaw).
- Go to Manage Subscriptions.
- Select Manage your Netflix account.
From there, you can update your email address and secure your account.
How to manage your Netflix data usage
Netflix uses more data than other TV shows because of how much you watch them.
To adjust your playback settings:
- Open Netflix on your device.
- Open your account menu and select Account.
- Select Playback settings under your profile.
- Choose a new setting and select Save.
How to cancel Rogers billing for Netflix
To remove Netflix from your Rogers bill, you need to cancel your Netflix subscription first.
- Open Netflix on your device.
- Open your account menu and select Account.
- Select Cancel Membership.
- Select Finish Cancellation.
To keep watching Netflix, you can start it again with a new payment method.
- Open your account menu and select Account.
- Select Update payment info.
- Enter your credit or debit card details and select Save.
Changes to your subscription will appear on your next Rogers bill.
What happens if you cancel your Rogers account
If you cancel your Rogers account, your Netflix subscription will cancel automatically.
To keep your Netflix subscription:
- Open Netflix on your device.
- Open your account menu and select Account.
- Select Update payment info.
- Enter your new payment details and select Save.
