Change TV channels with Remote PVR Manager app

You can use the Remote PVR Manager app as a remote control for your TV! Here’s how to tune to a channel on your Apple device or Android phone from the app.

Keep in mind, you’ll need to connect the app to your PVR or Terminal to use this feature. If you haven’t done so yet, find out how.

iPad

If you have more than one PVR or Terminal, select the one you want to control in My Devices list in the top left.
Find a live show or channel to watch from the Home and Search screens, Listings Grid or anywhere else in the app where live or upcoming shows are listed.
Tap the show or channel you want to view, then tap Tune to go to that channel on your TV.
- If the program you’ve selected isn’t currently airing, the Tune button will be greyed out.

For iPhone or Android Phones

If you have more than one Rogers PVR or Terminal, select the one you want to control as follows:
1. Tap > Settings
2. Tap the PVR you want to use under Manage Devices
3. Next to Set as Default select On and then tap Save Changes
Find a live show or channel to watch from the Home screen, Search, or Listings Grid or anywhere else in the app where live or upcoming shows are listed.
Tap the show or channel you want to view, then tap to go to that channel on your TV.
