How do I discover/change the Password on my Cable TV Terminal?

Use your Remote Control to discover/change the password or PIN on your Cable TV Terminal/PVR. Follow the following steps:

  1. On your Rogers TV Remote Control, press the "Settings" button and then select "Settings" again.
  2. Scroll through the menu on your TV screen until you find "Purchase PIN".
  3. Select "Puchase PIN" and then select "Change" to modify your PIN.
  4. You will need to enter the current PIN and once complete, you will be asked to enter a new PIN.
  5. The default PIN is "0000".  If you have never changed your PIN before, this will be the first number you need to enter.

Digital Terminal PIN Reset 

If you have forgotten your PIN you can reset it by logging into your MyRogersTM profile. To reset your PIN follow these steps:

  1. Go to Rogers.com
  2. Enter your User Name and Password, then click GO.
  3. Click Account Overview
  4. On the Overview Tab, navigate to TV
  5. Click Reset Digital PIN
  6. Select the Digital Box you wish to reset from the list and click Accept.

You will then be present with the following message: 

We've received your request to reset your digital box PIN. Please allow up to 30 minutes to process.

You can customize or change your PIN from 0000 in General Settings on your Digital Box (accessed through your remote control Settings button)
