Can I access popular apps such as Netflix, Disney+ and YouTube with these Ignite TV packages?

Why do I need the Ignite WiFi Gateway and set up a WiFi network if these Ignite TV packages do not require an Ignite Internet subscription?

The Ignite WiFi Gateway provides a low-speed WiFi network connection specifically for your Ignite TV service. The Ignite Entertainment Box wirelessly connects to this network to receive TV channel signals and on-demand content, as well as to receive operating system updates. If you have multiple TVs and want additional Ignite Entertainment Boxes, the Ignite WiFi Gateway will wirelessly connect to them as well. Note, the low-speed WiFi network is not set up for home internet use or wireless device connectivity. We won't provide any technical support for this type of usage.

Can I subscribe to standalone channels without subscribing to an Ignite TV package?

What does the Ignite TV Starter package include ?

On our Ignite TV platform, our Starter package includes:

Local stations such as CBC, CTV, Citytv and Global*.
Public interest channels such as Aboriginal Peoples Television Network (APTN) and AMI TV.
Access to Rogers On Demand offerings, Pay Per View, the Ignite TV app, and various promotional and preview channels.

How can I remove Ignite TV channels that I don’t want or that aren’t appropriate for kids?

Rogers Ignite TV is available to new and existing customers in Ontario, New Brunswick and Newfoundland and Labrador where access/technology permits. Subject to change without notice. HDMI compatible TV required. Limit of 10 Ignite Entertainment Boxes per account. Access to streaming services not available with Ignite TV-only subscriptions. Registration for online billing required.
