Setup eSIM using MyRogers app on the device you’re using

  1. Sign into the MyRogers app using your new device.
  2. Select the phone number for which you want to setup eSIM from the drop-down menu on the top of the screen.
  3. Select the Phone tab, then scroll down and select Change SIM. We’ll send you a text message with a verification code.
  4. Enter the verification code you received, then select Confirm code.
  5. Select eSIM then This device
  6. Select Download eSIM then follow the prompts on your device through the setup process. You might get a message asking you to give us permission to download eSIM to your device. Once you approve, wait for the confirmation message that your download was successful. Do not select Download eSIM again.
  7. Once the setup is complete, toggle I’ve successfully downloaded my eSIM to my device then select Continue
  8. Select Submit twice. You’ll get a message confirming that your eSIM is active.
  9. Select Done and restart your device to complete your setup. 

Setup eSIM using MyRogers app on another device

  1. Sign into the MyRogers app using your new device.
  2. Select the phone number for which you want to setup eSIM from the drop-down menu on the top of the screen.
  3. Select the Phone tab, then scroll down and select Change SIM. We’ll send you a text message with a verification code.
  4. Enter the verification code you received, then select Confirm code.
  5. Select eSIM then Another device. This will generate a QR code.
  6. Scan the QR code using the camera of the device on which you want to setup the eSIM.
  7. Follow the instructions on your device to finish setting up eSIM.
  8. On the device that you used to generate the QR code, toggle I’ve successfully downloaded my eSIM to my device then select Review changes
  9. Select Submit twice. You’ll get a message confirming that your eSIM is active.
  10. Select Done and restart the device on which you’re setting up the eSIM to complete your setup.  

Setup eSIM using rogers.com

  1. Sign into your MyRogers account
  2. Select the number on which you wish to setup eSIM.
  3. Select Change SIM. We’ll send you a text message with a verification code.
  4. Enter the verification code you received, then select Confirm code.
  5. Select eSIM then Continue. This will generate a QR code.
  6. Select Scan QR code then Continue.
  7. Scan the QR code using the camera of the device on which you want to setup the eSIM.
  8. Follow the steps on your device to setup your eSIM. 
  9. Once complete, select the box beside, I've successfully scanned the QR code with my device.
  10. Select Confirm SIM change.
  11. Select Done and restart your device to complete your setup.

Setup eSIM using an eSIM voucher

Your eSIM voucher will come already activated. To start using it, install eSIM on your device using the steps below. Note: you can only use your eSIM voucher once. If your voucher no longer works, visit a Rogers store to get a new one.

Apple

  1. From your device Settings, select Cellular. If needed, turn off an active eSIM to make room for your Rogers eSIM. 
  2. Select Add eSIM then Use QR Code. This will open the camera on your device. Scan the QR code on your eSIM voucher and follow the steps on your screen.
  3. Once you’ve completed the last step, restart your device to finish your setup. 

Samsung

  1. From your device Settings, select Connections.
  2. Select SIM manager If needed, turn off an active eSIM to make room for your Rogers eSIM. 
  3. Select Add eSIM
  4. Select Scan QR code. This will open the camera on your device. Scan the QR code on your eSIM voucher and follow the steps on your screen.
  5. Once you’ve completed the last step, restart your device to finish your setup.

Google

  1. From your device Settings, select Network & Internet.
  2. Select SIMs. If needed, turn off an active eSIM to make room for your Rogers eSIM. 
  3. Select Add SIM
  4. Select Download a new eSIM. This will open the camera on your device. Scan the QR code on your eSIM voucher and follow the steps on your screen.
  5. Once you’ve completed the last step, restart your device to finish your setup.

Customers upgrading a device or switching phones

Setup eSIM using MyRogers app on the device you’re using

  1. Sign into the MyRogers app using your new device.

  5. Select eSIM then This device

  8. Follow the steps on your device to setup your eSIM. 
  9. Once complete, select the box beside, I've successfully scanned the QR code with my device.
  10. Select Confirm SIM change.
  11. Select Done and restart your device to complete your setup.

Setup eSIM using an eSIM voucher

To start using it, setup and install eSIM on your device using the steps below. Note: you can only use your eSIM voucher once. If your voucher no longer works, setup eSIM on your device or another device using MyRogers app or rogers.com.  

Setup and install eSIM using a voucher through the MyRogers app

  1. Set up eSIM on your device: Apple, Google, Samsung.
  2. Once your eSIM is setup, sign into the MyRogers app.
  3. Select the phone number for which you want to setup eSIM from the drop-down menu on the top of the screen.
  4. Select the Phone tab, then scroll down and select Change SIM. We’ll send you a text message with a verification code.
  5. Enter the verification code you received, then select Confirm code.
  6. Select Physical SIM or eSIM voucher.
  7. Enter the 20-digit number beginning with 89302 from the back of your eSIM voucher. Select Continue.
  8. Review the changes and select Submit. A message confirming that you'd like to continue will appear.
  9. Select Submit again then restart your device to change to the new SIM.

Setup and install eSIM using a voucher on rogers.com

  1. Set up eSIM on your device: Apple, Google, Samsung.
  2. Sign into your MyRogers account
  3. Select the number on which you wish to setup eSIM.
  4. Select Change SIM. We’ll send you a text message with a verification code.
  5. Enter the verification code you received, then select Confirm code.
  6. Select eSIM then Continue
  7. Select Enter new eSIM number then Continue
  8. Enter the 20-digit number beginning with 89302 from the back of your eSIM voucher. Select Save and Continue.
  9. Review the changes and select Confirm SIM change.
  10. Select Done and restart your device to complete your setup
