How to sign in to your Rogers Xfinity Gateway modem and change your admin password

Logging in to your WiFi modem will allow you to configure admin settings such as its broadcasting channel, WiFi network password, and your WiFi network name (SSID).

Signing In

  1. While connected to your WiFi network, open an internet browser on your computer or device.
  2. Enter https://10.0.0.1 and hit Enter.
    • Your browser may give you a warning about the SSL certificate. To bypass the message:
      • Chrome: Click Advanced and then Proceed to 10.0.0.1 (unsafe)
      • Edge: Click Advanced then Proceed to 10.0.0.1 (unsafe)
      • Firefox: Click Advanced then Accept the Risk and Continue
      • Safari: Click Show details and then visit this website.
  3. Sign in with the following credentials:
    • Username: Admin
    • Password: The default password is on the label at the bottom of your gateway. If this is your first time signing in, you’ll be asked to change your password.

Changing your admin password

  1. Sign into your Rogers Xfinity Gateway.
  2. Select Troubleshooting.
  3. Select Change Password.
  4. Fill out the fields.suppot-xb6-arris1-gui-modem-password-change-screen
  5. Select Save.
