Getting started with the Rogers Xfinity app

The Rogers Xfinity app lets you easily manage and protect your home WiFi and connected devices right from your smartphone from anywhere, at any time. You can install your gateway modem and set up your home WiFi network in minutes, find your WiFi password, turn on Advanced Security cyberthreat protection, and troubleshoot issues whenever you choose. Plus, manage family members' online experiences with features like Pause and Parental Controls.

Setting up and using Rogers Xfinity

Follow the steps below to access the Rogers Xfinity App.

How to get the app

  • Download the free Rogers Xfinity (Shaw) app (Apple App Store or Google Play).
  • Sign in with your Username (formerly Shaw ID) and password.

Supported mobile operating systems

  • iOS 15 or later and Android 7.0 (Nougat) or later are supported. 
  • Windows phones and Amazon phones are not supported.

Note: If you get an error saying “We encountered an issue”:

Third-party routers do not support Rogers Xfinity.

 

  • If bridge mode is enabled on your Gateway, you will not be able to use Rogers Xfinity.
