Launch Toober App on Ignite TV or SmartStream
If you’re looking for TV programming from all over the globe, you can find it in Toober. This app puts multicultural live TV channels, all in one place. Toober offers channels in over 20 languages. You can personalize the app by creating profiles and use favourite filters to return to the channels or languages you prefer.
Don’t have a Toober account? No problem. Navigate to the Toober app on Ignite TV or SmartStream. Then use your smartphone to scan the QR code on your TV screen or visit the Toober website to register. During the registration, you’ll need to enter the code that’s displayed on your TV. Once you enter it, you’ll be signed in automatically and can start watching right away.
You can access the app using the voice command of your remote, or in the apps section of your Ignite TV or SmartStream menu.
The app is available to all Rogers Ignite bundle and SmartStream customers, but you must have a subscription to view its programming.
Using the app counts toward your monthly internet data usage.
Using Voice Command
- Press and hold the Mic button on your Voice Remote.
- Say, “Toober.”
- The Toober app will open.
Using the Ignite TV or SmartStream menu
- Press the Rogers button on your Voice Remote to open the main menu.
- Select Apps.
- Select Toober and press OK.
- The Toober app will open.
