Change the Security Settings On A Sierra AirCard

The following steps explain how to change the security settings on a Sierra AC754S or a Sierra AC763S mobile hotspot.

1. Make sure you are connected to the Hotspot device.
2. Open a web browser.
3. In the address bar type http://rogers.hotspot.
4. Login using the admin password:
   • Password: swiadmin
5. Click Device security.
6. Change desired options:
   • Administrator Login: 5 - 31 characters.
   • SSID: Name of the wireless network.
   • Show SSID on device: Check this if you want the network name to be displayed on the device.
   • Wi-Fi encryption: Select desired encryption type.
   • Wi-Fi Passphrase: 5 - 31 characters.
   • Wi-Fi Passphrase visible on device: Check this if you want the network password to be displayed on the device.
7. Click Save.
